We're in the Endgame now...

After breaking through the 16k mark, we're now heading into the final stretch of this campaign. The final stretch goals are revealed below, can we make it to the 25k mark and unlock that coveted hard enamel pin? We shall see!

But we're getting ahead of ourselves... right now, with your support we've unlocked the set of 7x trading cards! Here's a look at 5 of them, and the rear card design.

If you backed my previous 4HORSEMEN campaign, you'll know that these trading cards will be premium quality, and shipped securely in a plastic pocket to keep them in perfect condition.

What's next?

Here is the remaining stretch goals. Based on where we're at now at $16k+ these remaining goals are not out of the question, but we're going to need your help to spread the word to all your friends and social networks in order to do it!

Together with the aristocratic Caspian, roguish Elnor, and grease monkey Mac, they embark on a mission to track down an artifact that Dara believes may be connected to Roan's ancient, Impure Blood.

New Cover D variant revealed!

A new cover...

We listened to your feedback, and while we still like the jungle-themed Cover C, it didn't really jump out at you as a McFarlane tribute homage cover, he kinda gets lost in the background details.

So we put together another variant, this one showcasing Ignacio's pencils and subtle colours, but keeps him in the Aussie outback as well (and has a nice little tribute spider in there as well!).

This has been added to the Kickstarter as COVER D. And like its' predecessor, you will be able to select this cover at all pledge levels - you don't need to change anything to your pledge to be able to pick this cover at the end of the campaign.

However if you just HAVE TO HAVE all 4 covers, we've added both a QUAD COMBO reward, and an extra ADD-ON reward for SEMPER FI (2nd homage variant).

But don't panic, this campaign has been connected to the great BACKER KIT system, so you'll be able to add more items to your pledge, EVEN AFTER the Kickstarter has finished. So you won't miss out on anything, don't worry.

Here's a bunch of fun comic books also on Kickstarter that I reckon you might like. Great creators and great campaigns are something I particularly applaud.

Pneumatic Cases #1-3: Sleuthing Steampunk Spouses

Lord Percival and Lady Anastasia Ravenscroft are scientists and inventors who solve murders as a side hustle. When a violent murder is laid out on the streets for all of London to see, the pair are called in to consult in classic Holmesian fashion.   

The clues they find take them on a journey across Europe fighting reanimated men and making enemies along the way. Now, their quest has landed them in Romania where violent animal attacks are anything but. How this ties into the larger mystery at hand is what Percy and Annie must discover or die trying!

Fox and Hound - Issue 4

Fox and Hound is the story of 2 lovely mercenaries with many... assets... trying to make a buck, and as expected, things don't always go their way. 

The successful comic has taken off by storm with print after print being distributed in stores and to fans across the world! We come back again by popular demand for issue 4 with Charlie and Lena still in Russia accompanied by the luscious Natasha aka Minx.  Without a strong lead to Giovanni's killer, they need to dig deep into Charlies old organisation which also means uncovering some old memories and fresh wounds.

14K STRETCH GOAL UNLOCKED + ORIGINAL ART REWARD

Yesterday, we crossed over the 14k mark for total funding, which myself, Matthew and Ignacio are very thankful to you all for!

The best way we know to say thank you, is to give you some more bonus goodies for your support. This time around, we've got a great little A6 bookmark for you, featuring one of my favourite Killeroo artworks that Ignacio drew when figuring out how to draw him:

Everyone who backs this kickstarter for a physical comic, will get this cool little bonus with their comics - I've noticed quite a few of our digital backers have been upgrading their pledge to the physical comic, so I have to assume that some of these extra goodies are enough to make that extra pledge, even our international backers.

I see you, and I'm going to pack as much extra stuff as I can by campaign's end, to thank you for going that extra mile. 

So what's the next stretch goal?

Actually, it's a set of 7x trading cards, which profiles each of the main squad members of the Special Forces unit, and one enemy combatant card. I think you can guess who that might be...

Ignacio has already been working on the artwork for these, here's a look at the profile pictures.

But that's only five squad members, where's the sixth?

The sixth is actually one of you! One of you selected the big cameo reward, so we're just waiting for the campaign to finish, and then we'll be seeking you out to send us some photos so you can be drawn into the comic, and into your very own trading card!

I'll show you some more of these cards as we get closer to that 16k goal.

The Book of Demons can be read as a standalone, but it is a continuation of Ghosts and Demons.

300 BACKERS stretch goal

We're on our way to breaking through my biggest number of backers, which was 263 backers for my first kickstarter with the KILLEROO/THE 4HORSEMEN campaign.

This is very exciting, so I wanted to make the reward of getting to 300 something major.

If we get there, we'll be expanding the page count of the book, to include a detailed sketchbook section, to show Ignacio's process from sketch to finished page. I don't know about you, but I'm a real process junkie, I love seeing that stuff.

We got there!

After passing the 200 BACKERS level, all backers who selected a physical comic will receive this gatefold mock movie poster print. I had a lot of fun designing this, there's also a little indication of who the writer and I would cast as the squad of Marines, and as the voice of Rufus in the film.

THE MONUMENTS is a 140 page, beautifully illustrated, mystery/adventure story about a fantasy world in which four warring city-states are forced to come together to face a common enemy: giant mysterious mechs. Right before wiping out the entire civilization, the mechs all power down for no clear reason, leaving the survivors to rebuild their world together.  

800 years later. The world has moved on. The city-states are now united as one nation: a land littered with massive robotic relics that serve as monuments to a long-forgotten war.  

After centuries of dormancy, one of these long-frozen mechs suddenly powers up, revealing a man who is confused, misplaced in time, and still very much alive.
